PALM BEACH GARDENS

      On Wednesday, July 30, money was stolen from a doctor’s office in the 3300 block of Burns Road. The suspect was a patient of a psychiatrist in the same building. 

      On Thursday, July 31, a man pulled a gun on his girlfriend’s ex-husband and stated he was going to “blow him away”. He then fled north on Prosperity Farms Road in a tan Lexus.

      On Thursday, July 31, a tall man wearing a dark shirt and jeans robbed a bank on Northlake Blvd of over $2000.00. A witness saw him run out of the bank and get into an older model dark-colored Nissan and run over the curb as he sped out of the parking lot.

      On Friday, Aug 1, a man in The Oaks sold some furniture to a party in Boynton Beach. A checkbook and other items belonging to his wife were left in one of the pieces of furniture.

      On Saturday, Aug 2, a man left his home on Applecrest Drive at 9:00 am and accidentally left the garage door open. When he returned at 1:00 pm, his 2006 black and gray Suzuki motorcycle was missing.   

      On Saturday, Aug 2, a black Chevy Tahoe rental car was broken into when it was parked in front of a building for an hour. Among the items stolen was a 37” flat screen TV in a box and a car seat. Several purses in the car were not touched.

      On Sunday, Aug 3, a girl, 16, was assaulted by a 17-year-old boy who she knew. When police arrived at the scene in the Promenade Plaza, the boy had already left the scene. Paramedics arrived to treat the victim since she was not able to move her jaw.

      On Tuesday, Aug 5 at 7:30 pm, a woman in her mid-40s was attacked by her former neighbor at the World Gym. She was bruised, but refused EMS.   

      On Thursday, Aug 7, police arrested three Peeping Toms, one of them a juvenile, who were caught prowling in PGA National.

      On Thursday, Aug 7, the lower unit to a 250 hp Yamaha outboard boat engine was stolen from the Loggerhead Marina. 

LAKE PARK

      On Sunday, July 27, while patrolling US Hwy 1, a deputy spotted a man in his early 30’s urinating on the front of a business and parking area in the 1000 block. He continued to do so in the presence of the deputy and in front of vehicles driving by. He was charged with indecent exposure and issued a notice to appear in court.

      On Friday, Aug 1, a deputy was driving behind a 1988 Mazda when it turned south on to US Hwy1 from Silver Beach Road right through a steady red light. He stopped the car and discovered the driver had a suspended license, was a habitual traffic offender and had a warrant out for his arrest for simple domestic battery. He was arrested and transported to County Jail.

      On Saturday, Aug 2, a couple was driving on the road in the Publix complex when an older man in a blue Jeep SUV began tailgating and beeping the horn at them. He followed them into the Wendy’s parking lot and got out of his vehicle and proceeded to kick the left front corner panel of their Mercedes SLK causing approximately $300 in damage. The suspect was identified and the case was filed with the state attorney’s office.

      On Sunday, Aug 4 around midnight, a deputy was conducting a business check at Publix when he spotted a tan conversion van parked at the far end of the parking lot. Both front doors and the side double doors were standing open with several towels hanging from the headliner. A nude man in his early 60’s was sleeping inside the van amidst a strong odor of marijuana. The man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and issued a notice to appear in court. As he was signing the notice, the suspect asked the deputy if he could have his wooden pipe back because he’d had it since he was in his 20’s. The answer was an obvious NO!

NORTH PALM BEACH

      On Friday, July 25, a cooler and several other items were stolen from a boat docked off Marina Drive.

      On Tuesday, July 29, a resident on Ebbtide Drive found a strange man in her swimming pool. The man then got out of the pool and was seen walking across the street with a fishing pole, accompanied by a female. Police caught up with them in their vehicle several blocks away.

      On Tuesday, July 29, two teenaged boys dressed in baggy pants and long tee shirts were throwing rocks at cars on Lighthouse Drive.

      On Wednesday, July 30, a complaint came in from Golfview Drive in reference to some tennis players “playing tennis too loud”.   

      On Wednesday, July 30, a woman dressed in pajamas became hysterical and ran out to the driveway of her townhouse after the alarm sounded and she heard strange noises inside the house. Police checked the interior and everything was clear.

      On Wednesday, July 30, paramedics rescued an 11-month-old baby who was locked in a car in Sanctuary Cove.

      On Thursday, July 31, a witness reported hearing a woman yell, “Help Me!” six or seven times from a white car driving in the alley behind the Post Office. Police were unable to locate the car, so a BOLO (Be On Lookout) was issued.

      On Saturday, Aug 2, police stopped a vehicle on a seize tag order and discovered the driver had a suspended license and was in possession of drugs. She was taken into custody and the two juvenile passengers were turned over to another adult.

      On Saturday, Aug 2, a resident on Buttonwood Road reported the neighbor’s sprinkler system was not working properly. On watering days, the sprinklers shoot water across the street onto his car!

      On Saturday, Aug 2, renters moved out of an apartment on Hummingbird Way and took the washer and dryer that belonged to the owner.

      On Sunday, Aug 3, a woman reported that a 91-year-old man left on foot a few weeks ago and hasn’t returned. The woman lives alone and police are making contact with family members.

      On Monday, Aug 4, someone kicked the sideview mirror off of a police car that was parked on Northlake Blvd.

      On Monday, Aug 4, someone poured a 5-gallon bucket of paint all over the parking lot behind an establishment on Northlake Blvd.

      On Monday, Aug 4, a 911 call from the Village Hall automated system stated a panic button had been activated in the council chambers. The activation was accidental.  

      On Saturday, Aug 9, a man stole a cell phone and fled east on Lighthouse Drive in a light blue Isuzu Trooper with a “king-sized mattress” on top.

      On Saturday, Aug 9, a resident on Northlake Court called Fire Rescue after trying to get to the door for two hours with a foot caught in a dog gate.
